Learn about our passions

The Bowers Political Institute will work tirelessly to promote the advancement of the family through politics, social policy and economics.

Brokering ideas

Coming together as an advocacy group and fostering a collection of new ideas is what we are all about. Ideas lead to actions, and actions lead to new developments and a plethora of endless possibilites. One idea is fostering programs to dismantle the school to prison pipeline.

Stimulating public debate

Sometimes the conversaton just needs to be started by someone--and that's us! So many topics, and so little time! Let's talk about why poverty is a cycle that continues to thrive in the Black community, yet nothing substancial is being done to reverse it.

Tackling systemic problems

There is no shortage of problems in our world, and in the Black community they seem to multiply that much more. At BPI, we aim to tackle problems one by one and will count each victory as a step in the right direction towards equity and fair resolutions.

Our first assignment:

Advocating for the Black Family

The historical treatment of the Black family is no secret in this country. In fact, many would rather forget the travesties that have been committed against us. However, we here at BPI, are not among those who would soon forget what has happened to the Black family. On the contrary, we are dedicated to calling to remembrance those atrocities and also calling for a day of reckoning as well as healing for those who have and are still suffering the long lasting implications.

Chasing the Black Family

An Awareness Warning of Protection

For generations, there has been something very evil, hateful, sneaky that has been planned and carried out by a gang of criminals. This plan has been created to capture the Black family and make them stagnant from generation to generation. This well-planned attack is explained in this short eChat book entitled, "Chasing the Black Family" by the Black Optimist, Everette R. Bowers.
